How to Delete Backup Created Before Deep Clean?


First, we would like to tell you that considering the significance of your data, PhoneClean creates full backups prior to any cleaning action. Upon doing so, even you mistakenly deleted some of useful personal data, like an important message or other valuable photos; you can get them back by restoring your device to any appointed backup point. It will be appreciated for your kind understanding for that.

If you really do not want to keep the backup, please refer to the tutorial to delete it permanently.

If you are using PC, here is the path that backup located:

C:\Users\{computer name}\AppData\Roaming\iMobie\PhoneClean\DeviceBackup

If you are using Mac, here is the path of backup located:

Open Finder > Go > Go to Folder > Enter: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ > Go.

Why I Can’t Download iMobie Product on My iPhone/iPad/iPad Touch?

Some customers send mail to tell us that they are unable to download iMobie product, like PhoneClean, AnyTrans, PhoneRescue on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. They feel confused about this issue. You will get the answer after reading this passage.


We would like to clarify that all our products are desktop based programs, but they can be used to for iOS devices, such as iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch. Thus, please install our product on your computer first and then connect your device with it via USB cable. Next, you can use it.

How to Recover Lost Data from iCloud Drive?

PhoneRescue helps users to recover data via exporting data from iCloud Drive even without iDevice at hand. It lets you easily retrieve PPT, Excel, PDF file, Pictures and other files you lost. Through iCloud Drive feature of PhoneRescue, you can preview and selectively recover lost data from any computer with an Apple ID.

Tip: Please check the Internet connection is stable.

Step 1: Choose Recover from the iCloud after launching PhoneRescue.

How to Solve PhoneClean 103 Error Code Issue?

How to Make Your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch Be Detected by PhoneClean

Some users complain that nothing happens when they connect their iDevice to computer. Do you encounter this issue when using PhoneClean? If so, please refer to this help page to tackle this issue soon. Here are our suggestions for you:

1.    Please make sure iTunes can read your device properly and please also Trust this computer when the device is connected. If not, please reinstall your iTunes.

Clean Others Located in Your iDevice via PhoneClean

Many people complain that their iPhones are taken up via Other. Do you know what is Other and how to move them from your iDevice? Some people may think Other on your iPhone is the complete OS taken space or Safari, email temporary data. But that’s not the most right answer. Part of that Other space on iPhone is taken up via iOS, the operate system running on your iPhone. In this case, there is no way to regain the free space from this part. However, the Other part of iPhone storage space also contains sort of caches and temp files generates by apps and iTunes syncs. Thus, some of them can’t be used long term.

The Other largely depends on the apps that installed on your iPhone. The more caches and temp files created via apps, the more space consumed by Other. Undoubtedly, it may slow down you iPhone.  

In this case, please refer to our suggestions to get rid of Other and free up more space for your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch via PhoneClean.

Step 1: Please perform both Quick Clean and Deep Clean for your device. Otherwise, Toolbox can help you reclaim some free space, would you please give a try.


Step 2: The “Other” on your device is likely to taken up by media files or Apps which PhoneClean could not remove as we thought they are important for you. Please go to Settings > General > usage to view the detail information of your device memory usage. We suggest you delete some inactive apps or media files to regain more free space.

How to Solve iOS Structure Becomes More Complex Issue?

Some users may encounter iOS structure becomes more complex issue when using PhoneClean. How to solve this issue is a frequent question by our customers. Today, we provide this help page to help users tackle this issue. Please check whether our suggestions are available when you encounter such an issue. 
Step 1:  This problem may be due to insufficient free space on your device to run deep clean. Please delete some unimportant data from your phone to regain at least 2GB free space. You can also backup some data which takes up large memory to your computer and then temporarily remove these data from your device.

Step 2: If the problem continues, it is due to the redundancy of your device's data, which requires a large amount of free space on your computer hard drive for backup use. So would you please free up more space on your computer before Deep Clean?

Turn off Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch When Deep Clean Process Failed

When using Deep Clean or Restore feature, it requires you to turn off
Find My iDevice, such as, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch option in your device.
Please refer to the help page to tackle it if you encounter such an issue.

Step 1: Open the Settings apps on your devices> iCloud > turn off the Find My iPad option. Take an iPad 4 as example, which is similar to iPhone and iPad.


Step 2: Then please enter into Apple ID password to turn off Find My iPad as required. After doing so, you will disable Find My iPad option.


Tip: Once PhoneClean finishes clean process, please keep in mind that it is recommended to turn on The Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch for the safety of your device.

Find your lost data back via PhoneResuce


PhoneRescue helps users to find their lost data back in a safe and reliable way, including messages, notes, call history, photos, videos, etc... But some users eamil us to tell us that they are unable to locate their lost data, even though they pay for the full version of PhoneRescue. If you encountered an issue like that, please refer to  this help page to find your data back.

1. Try to recover data from iOS device, iTunes and iCloud backup. Please make sure backups restored in iTunes or iCloud before restoring. Meanwhile, check the internet connection is stable.
2. If nothing happens, to help us make better analysis, please send log to our Support@imobie.com directly. It is easy to do: connect your device to PhoneRescue > click the Menu tab on the upper right of PhoneRescue > click Send Log-file to us from the drop-down menu> send the zip file to us as attachment.
3. If you are using Mac, please refer to this guide to send log file. Connect your device to PhoneRescue > click the Menu tab on the upper left of PhoneRescue > click Send Log-file to us from the drop-down menu> send the zip file to us as attachment.

4.    If you are not able to send log directly, please send it via this way. Here is the path of Log:

For Windows: C: User/Your computer name/AppData/Roaming/Your computer name/PhoneRescue/Errorlog

For Mac: /Users/Your computer name/Library/Application
